I'm wirering the sub hunter console.

So before I try Milliput, do you know a good way to make electric connections in 1/35 or 1/32 ?

Thank you ian for the wow

I didn't succed with milliput for the connector, so I used stretched tube on the steel cable core, and thin wire insulation

I think the connector is fine (I just made the one marked on the picture)

Norbert, you mind putting something like a pen or a match or a coin next to that hoist. It looks amazing!

I still can't believe how well the milliput sound proofing looks too.

And kind of an odd question, but why the different color plastic? Is it all styrene, just different thicknesses or what?

Take care,

Austin

Hello my friends

just a little update, I'm working on the sonar hoist :

The hardest of the hoist is done, but there is still plenty of work on it

Norbert

Oh my God! :D It's a real masterpiece!! Looks so crisp and flawless, espacially taking into account actual scaled size.

Amazing work! Very, very impressive!

Cheers and happy modeling!

Alexander.

Thank you Dan, thank you Mason

you're kind words help me to stay on that lonnnng build

Austin, here is a picture with a match

1L096.jpg

they are 2 colors because I use plastic dividers I found in school supply, and they are colored in green, yelow, blue, red...and cheep and seems to be styrene, not PVC.

the white ones are just Evergreen profiles

BTW, thank you Austin, Holmes, Antony, Tom, Alexander, Ice and Papasmurf.

The black drops (rivets) are Archer rivets from Archer Fine transfers

and a last general view, just for the fun to have all together

Have a nice day

Happy new year !

I worked on the oposite side of the hoist :

I just could not glue the cable. It may be a wire covered with silicone. So I have to find an other one, if possible black and thinner.

My wife told me that it's not possible to see this work...

no no, you can see it

1L097.jpg

hmm; you can see it :coolio:

1L098.jpg

Ok, Ok, it's difficult to see anything

anyway, you see it on the other side

now back on my hind for stressless work
