Skull Leader Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 you can do two sidewinders and 1 sparrow on the wing pylons, but the later the F-14 got in its service life, the fewer AA missiles it carried. Often times just one sidewinder only... many times one sidewinder and one sparrow. In the final years before the weapon was retired, the Phoenix missile was usually only carried on training flights and qualification shots. It was rare that they carried them over the battlefield, and if they ever WERE carried, it was usually either on stations 3 and 6, or on station 1A. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

rom Posted March 3, 2009 Author Share Posted March 3, 2009 Metal parts: i used humbrol metalcote 27003(steel) & 27001(silver) 27003 as basis, then lighten with some 27001 touch up. Then i sprayed 27003 with red.
