I'm fascinated by the VF-142 CVW-8 bird. the VF-142 scheme is similar to the original matchbox issue decals, but the AJ was on the inside of the tail and the lightning bolt on the outside. I always thought this was a speculative scheme, as I've never seen a pic, but is it possible that this scheme actually existed?
