Rules of the Road

Greetings all and welcome to the ARC Spitfire GB. The rules for this GB are simple and meant to emphasize fun and group spirit. If you have any questions or clarifications, post your question here and we (the mods) will get an answer for you.

- GB runs from January 1, 2009 through June 30, 2009. All entries must be completed by midnight at the end of June 30, 2009 to be counted for this GB. Times are all local to where you live, modelers' honor system here.

- subject of your build must be a Spitfire. Any mark, any time, any markings, as long as it is some form of Spitfire (or variants thereof, like Seafire etc.) it is good to go.

- Scratch building and aftermarket are allowed in any amount but are not required.

- Build must be less than 50% done at the start of the GB to be entered. Again, this is modelers' honor system here, but the goal is to encourage group participation and interaction, and the more you share your build with the group the better.

- This last is more guideline than rule and wont make you ineligible of you don't follow it. Please start a thread for each build that you do. Continue with that same thread throughout the build including your finished photos. We (the mods) will place all finished photos in a separate Gallery post so there is no need to post a separate thread with just finished photos. Also, try to post progress along the way. Just posting the end of a build, while nice to look at, sort of defeats the point of the group build.
