xavi84
hey guys, first of all i spend more time on ARC than any other place on the interweb. this will be my first gb and my first in progress thread. i've been working on a tomcat since about the 7th of jan and i just recently got my glue covered hands on a digital camera. i'll have pics up tomorrow (hopefully) the project: i'm working on a monogram F-14A with an Aries cockpit and fightertown decals ftd48-013 and yes, its going to be a jolly roger bird. its going to be victory 212 so far i've rescribed the panel lines , cut out the instrument panel covers and painted the cockpit. xavi84
yeah i know the guys on here are freaking awesome. i've done plenty of research and i've been a tomcat fan since as long as i can remember. the very first movie i ever saw in theaters was top gun when i was 2 and i've been hooked on the tomcat ever since. i'm no expert like the two brians but i like to think that i know more about the tomcat than most people do, and thanks to the two brians it seems like i'm learning more and more every day. NCpilot79
Wow! Great looking cat so far! Building a Monogram cat myself, I'm impressed with the lack of filler used on the sides. The cockpit looks fantastic as well, and it's great inspiration. Keep up the good work, it's coming along nicely!
