It is soo sad no one is producing model of this ship in 1/350, Is Trumpeter Hornet onyl choice? with expensive conversion set from yankee model works? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

richter111 Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 I have been changing over a 1/350 Trumpeter Hornet to the Enterprise. It is not that difficult of a conversion, the island has a few changes, but the biggest is the deck. You have to cut the front to match the actual enterprise, some have forgotten this step and it sticks out like a sore thumb. try www.modelwarships.com it is THE site for model ship building, and there are entire threads devoted to just the CV-6 Enterprise.
