Andre
Can anyone advise which is the best of the Heller, Hasegawa and Revell kits in 1/72nd?? Depends on what you want to build, really. For a J-35F or -J, the Hasegawa (also the kit in the new RoG box with the Australian red and white showbird on the box top) is the best choice - gorgeous kit, up to Haegawa's latest standards. The Heller kit, albeit an older kit with raised lines, is one of their best efforts, plus it has the option of building a twoseat aircraft (although for anyting else tha a Danish one you're in for quite a bit of modification) and a recce bird, with the photo nose shape also enabling you to build a RDAF LRMTS-equipped attack bird. The Hasegawa kit seems to be set up for further variants, including a dual, but these have yet to see the light of day. Beware of an earlier RoG kit (photo of a completed model on the box top), it's ancient. HTH, Andre
Paolo Maglio
Here you are a couple of photos of the Heller kit to give you an idea, the old Revell mould is much worst, to a standard similar to old FROG models:
