infideon Posted March 17, 2009 Author Share Posted March 17, 2009 Hi Guys been a while since i updated... i painted and decalled the GBUs and loaded them up i painted the boarding ladder ripped from an old hasegawa kit now need to paint the ejectection seat and add the pitot tube and some other minor parts like nav lights... cheers... I'm working on a block 50 to 30 currently, will be in 178th ANG scheme.Dave No it was air brushed....i mixed a variety of colors for the exhaust ...mr color metalizer range...i cant really remember now but must be a mixture of steel chrome silver brass and burnt iron. infideon Posted March 28, 2009 Author Share Posted March 28, 2009 Hi guys, FINALLY got time to paint the AceII ejection seat.... Seat is from the kit itself and seat belts are photoetch from Aries (wow first time doing photoetch belts..very troublesome)..the tamiya base kit seat was pretty good already... anyway here is some pics... of the seat and the plane with the seat... gonna finish off the plane soon...nav lights and pitot tube and nose wheel lights and this bird should be ready also need to add some RBF tags....almost forgot next to paint some ground crews and finish off the tarmac....
