EL REY
Well, let's continue. The tail antenna, looks very web. I prefer change it, by a thin stainles steel wire. I cut the exhausts. Once that cowling is asembled it, I decide to build the protections for intakes and exhausts How?, whith wet tissue. After wet the tissue with water and: Complete dry all parts cote with contact glue or nail varnish(clear)
EL REY
The part front were painted in acrylic reds. For the straps use tamiya masking and red floss. Front housing has a little brass mesh. A nice looking detail was put some lights, for the landing light I use: Some kristal clear cote drops. Lateral lights are from: Made in transluscent resin.

rotorwash
Wow, that's looking Great! I'd be worried all those tiny parts would get busted off during painting. I guess you are less heavy handed than me! I can't wait to see her all painted up. Ray
shark 64
Hi, I agree with rotorwash i would be afraid to break off small parts. In any case your Huey is looking great. I like the extra work you are putting into it. What color will you be painting it? Oliver

EL REY
Thousand apologizes, time ago I abandoned this proyect because shamefully the actual kits from Italeri does not has very quality into its plastic. When the time has come to painted it the f%*? kit be melt. Really what a shame and angry!, However I hope this little proyect has been of like you. Thank you so much! lifeline
Thousand apologizes, time ago I abandoned this proyect because shamefully the actual kits from Italeri does not has very quality into its plastic. When the time has come to painted it the f%*? kit be melt.Really what a shame and angry!, However I hope this little proyect has been of like you. Thank you so much! So sorry to hear that... I hope You can still salvage all those details you add before and keep it for another project. But, I curious; what kind of paint/thinner you use on the kit? I've built this kit a few years ago and I used lacquer, and it went fine... Cheers, Mario
BrittMac
I was also wondering how you are painting your models, because this kit and your other build both "melted". That is very strange. Hope the next ones go well though.
HeavyArty
I have never had a model melt when painted either. Sounds like your paint, thinner, painting technique or something is way off.
