Hurricane363
I'm looking for any pictures of 267 Sqn Dakotas, (not the current BBMF colour scheme). I'm more interested in the North Afrika era/colour scheme.. Any Help would be appreciated. Mat.
A-4Silverfox
There is a B & W photo of RAF Dakota Mk. IIIs (C-47As) of No. 267 ('Pegasus') Squadron on page 75 of "American Aircraft of World War 2 in color". They appear to be painted in the "sand & spinach" scheme. Red codes "AI" just aft of the of the left half of the cargo door. Yellow surround on the RAF cocarde. The ISBN number is 0713709448. It was published by Blandford Press, Link House, West Street, Poole, Dorset, UK. HTH.
B-17 guy
You could try google images. Or even just google that particular squadron, they might have a web site, with pics. Edited March 24, 2009 by B-17 guy
