ChristopherC
Very cool! What are the white lines on the deck for? Just to the right of the Corsair's nose wheel. Chris
Gaspa
Very cool! What are the white lines on the deck for? Just to the right of the Corsair's nose wheel.Chris Those lines are used by the Flight Deck Directors as a visual cue to aid proper alignment of the airplane centerline with the catapult track. Each one serves a different aircraft, if the plane is taxiing on top of one of them it's ok.

sv51macross
Awesome! Sweet diorama! Quick Q, aircraft that were not wild weasels; the F-4G, F-16CJ, could an aircraft like the A-7 find SAMs and independently use the HARM or did it need another aircraft to find the radar and designate targets? Gaspa
Awesome! Sweet diorama! Quick Q, aircraft that were not wild weasels; the F-4G, F-16CJ, could an aircraft like the A-7 find SAMs and independently use the HARM or did it need another aircraft to find the radar and designate targets? AFAIK, A-7s were wired to fire HARMs and designated targets for them using the HARMs' own sensors. Like you said, they have no dedicated gear for SEAD, but how much that handicaps them in fulfilling that role I don't know.
Gaspa
Nice diorama, Gaspa!I love the loadout. Emil Thanks! Took a while to get it right, the HARMs are kits in themselves!
