I'd like to get in on this group build if I could, I just don't know which aircraft to build yet. I have to put my modeling room back together after I had to clear out my basement because of the flood we had Mar and Apr. Once I get it back together and my models located, I'll pick which one. I'm sure I'll be building straight OOB though. I'll see if I've learned anything from all of you out there!

Hello People

Today I present my second build : I'll do A Supermarine Walrus MkI HMS Victorious carrier British Pacific Fleet - Tokyo bay 1945.

This 1/72 kit is a old Matchbox reboxed Revell.

I'm in with a Douglas TBD-1 Devastator. Kit is an old Monogram 1/48. I plan to build it as a Torpedo plane from USS Lexington's VT-2, which took part in the Battle of the Coral Sea, depending what decals I can come up with. She'll be built pretty much out of the box, with some scratched details.

Wait for me! Going to try and finish up a 1/48 Tamiya F4U-1D in time. Will be OOB except for a set of Eduard pre-painted belts and Eagle Strike decals. Ive got the office completed and the engine is painted up and weathered waiting on the firewall to be attached. Hopefully I will have some progress pics up tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks!

Michael

I just started two Sweet 1/144 scale FM-2's this morning and have them just about put together, I'll prob start painting them later this week. I'm doing one in Atlantic Scheme and another in either overall GSB or Tricolor camo in the Pacific. Great little kits with lots of details!
