Keith Diamond
This is the 1/48 Esci S-3 kit. I was building this off and on, with the goal of making it into Navy 1. Well, after not messing with it for a few months, I opened my modeling closet and saw that a shelf fell. As a result, it had a wing cracked in half, the other wing barely hanging on, and a few other parts broken off or set loose. So, I decided to repair what I could, and build it as a Whif. So, do you guys think I got a good match for the main color "Electric Mucus?" I"m sure many of you guys will be able to guess what this will end up being. Here's the repaired cracked wing. It's much more noticeable in person. Misc pieces. Note the cargo pods in case you guys haven't figured it out.
RedHeadKevin
If I'm not mistaken, you don't need to hurry. This won't need to be done until the end of December, right?

I guess I'll throw together an article at the end of the year in time for silly week. Latest Mucinex commercial? Not quite. Man, I thought we had a lot of Futurama fans here? Pirata
I've so wanted to get into Futurama but the one-eyed, hot chick just kept throwing me off. I do look forward to seeing how the model turns out, though.
Keith Diamond
Almost done... Just have to get the gear on, and secure it to the base The wing crack is still pretty obvious, and it only got worse when I tried a wash for the first time. It was my first attempt, so it didn't turn out too well. Some areas were too dark, some areas couldn't hold the wash, but at least it dirtied up the airframe like I wanted. I eventually started to do everything half assed since I just wanted to finish this thing to get it out of the way. Hopefully will be done in a few hours.
