Well now thanx to the V-22 I've been made into a liar. I said in another thread in this forum that there were no aircraft (modern) with raised Lines (ridges) or rivets......I guess that's not true is it!!!  . Oh very nice pix BTW.....thanx a bazillion :D

I love how they've labeled practically everything. HAND GRIP, VOR, VENT, TIE DOWN, etc. Captain Obvious strikes again! :P

perhaps a bit obvious but on the other hand, this is a fairly new type. i'm sure the ground crew is still learning what does what and it probably helps to have visual reminders there. i'm sure once these things have seen more time and the crew gets more familiar with everything, a good majority of those stencils will slowly not be repainted during touch-up and repaints. kind of like the phantoms back in the 60s. they used to have everything labled. i kind of like that look personally.

anyway, keep em coming bull dog. i love it.

The silver handle with the bright orange RBF tag is the nose gear locking pin. It is always pulled out and flagged when the aircraft is on the ground.
