antony robertson
Hi Guys This is not a w.i.p. for the kit, but as i have more than one photo of the finished plane, i thought i'd post them here. The kit is the Airfix 1/48 scale kit, built out of the box with a few bits added from a Tornado kit and the bits box. Decals are from Zotz and were supposed to go on an F-4 ( i know i'll get a hard time from the phanatics about that but i think they look amazing!). The kit was simple to put together, the only problem being the main wheel bogeys and wheels, which seem to have bent so now the plane sits on its legs, probably not put together properly knowing me! I found some MFD decals in the bits box, so put them in the cockpit. The bang seats are from an F-4 too, as i lost the proper ones, so found these as replacements. I then found the original ones again, but preffered the look of the Phantom ones, so they stayed. Any comments feel free!
ChernayaAkula
What a beauty! :) I think I have some decals for that scheme from Platz or someone like that in 1/144. :) Didn't know Zotz did them in 1/48.

Thanks for the kind words, i have them in 1/144 scale too, may do that one soon. I didnt know they did them in 1/48 until i won them in the Phantom group build last year. I think they look awesome on the TSR.2 though. The only thing it really needs to finish it off is an insane amount of stencilling but i dont have any spare, so luckily for my eyes its not going on!!
