Black Panther Tornado ECR

Done!!!

Been a pain building this thing but the decals really made up for it in the end :D

Not perhaps my best build but it sure sticks out in a crowd :P It´s better viewed from 3ft rather than up close and dirty...

I went for a glossy finish and no washes for the panellines at all...not even a light one, it´s the decals that are the focus in this build and they do not bennefit from coloured panellines I think :yahoo:

And since it´s my kit you don´t get to have a say :P

Well here´s my Black Panther Tornado!

Gonna be lots of pics as usual....

First off 3 pics taken indoors

Stunning build my friend !!! :jaw-dropping:

As You already mentioned Yourself, there might be a few flaw's. Still, no critiques coming from me.

At least You've bagged yet another one !!!

As for the panel-lines;

To me the good part about a "BMF" scheme is that the engraved panel-lines somewhat "cast a shade" within the engraved lines, making them

pretty visable even without a wash. I think You've mad a wise decision on that part... Just my 2c of course.

Sooo, what's next on the bench...?

"Check Six....."

Spooky.

BRAVO Janne :jaw-dropping: How did you pull off that decal-ing? Really great job

Thanx Chris

With lots and lots of microsol and a few other tricks up my sleave......

Gonna let you in on a secret.....

You know when you´ve put on a decal over protruding detail on the surface of the kit?

like so.... and no ammount of microsol seems to help...

dffz.jpg

Dip a topz in water and heat it over a flame until it´s hot

drthfgh.jpg

Press it against the decal at the offending spot...

and it will conform to your will!!

As always, a really nice build, Janne! A few flaws to be seen, but as Spooky

said, at least you finish a kit once every now and then..

I really, really like that scheme, it sure looks the part! I for sure wouldn't

mind having that one in my collection..

Now I've gotta start building again myself.. :)
