Supertom
Hey guys, Exactly what's "white spirits?" Is that mineral spirirts? I'm looking at Robert Kwikkel's article on painting PE parts (http://s96920072.onlinehome.us/tnt1/001-100/TNT033_PE-). I tried to e-mail him about it but that account seems to have been deactivated. It happen to me once, but then I was thinking of murdering guy that told me to thin enemels with that.

Ricardo
Hi Zdenko.White spirit is about the same as turpentine and/or mineral spirits. It says on the bottle you can thin synthetic paints with it. As for my e-mail adres, I disabbled it because of spam. I encourage everybody to put any questions for me on this forum. Hope to see your results with the technique used, as everybody elses. Rob. Turpentine? I was 99 percent sure turpentine was not mineral but from some sort of pine oil. Ricardo

MarkusN
Yep, but in German for example white spirit is called "Terpentinersatz" (surrogate turpentine), and some folks just call it "Tepentin". so that's probaly where that mixup comes from.
