Fabster
Wow! Alph, This is one aircraft I never expected to see in kit form, and in 1/48th scale to top it off! Where did you get it from??? Is this a "test shot" model? I will follow your progress with interest as you already started showing good stuff here! Bring it in! FAB
Spaced Marine
Looks nice. Sprue Bros has/had them in stock recently for those looking.

Is this a "test shot" model? It's not a test shot model. I've buyed mine in France. But it seems to have problems between Bronco and Trumpeter. ALPH
I'm really interested in the JF-17 and I've got the kit. What is the picture looking down the inside rear fuselage showing? I replaced the plastic grids by wire mesh here's a photo of the back side on this photo, whell bays are not symmetric on my model, I had to add reinforcements to correct it Edited July 11, 2009 by ALPH
seiran01
Nice job so far!!! Mine's already ready to paint, but I did a quick build on it, not nearly the effort you're putting in. Now to decide... gray camo or godawfully bright red/white/green scheme?

JackMan
and windscreen How did you create that white coloured "master" mold? What material did you use & did you create it by pressing it against the original windshield? Thanks in advance
ALPH
hi Jackman, the master is made with epoxy putty (miliput) my "technic" is very simple - I place the acetate sheet with a clamp - I put in hot water - I let 5-10 seconds in the water - I remove and wait 2-3 seconds - I shape the piece with my fingers - when i think it's ok, i put in cold water to fix the form.
