Jeroen Veen
So tonight I call her done; my first ME109 E3. I tried to make an effort on Bärs plane, build from the Hasegawa kit. What a joy it was to build. Please don't shoot me on accuracy because I'm definately not a specialist on the subject, but from a building point of view this is a wonderful kit. And wow, an ME109 in this scale is really tiny. I added the Verlinden set for the radio compartment to add a spark of interest and also the cockpit. Painting was done in my usual way, but I tried not to overweather it... which wasn't a complete succes . I want to thank Dave Sherill who was so kind to help me out with an aftermarket set of decals, because the kit decals scared me to bits due to their thickness. Again Dave, highly appreciated! So here are some pics, I hope you enjoy them. All comments welcome as usual, happy modelling, Jeroen
