Aussie_superbug
Hi all, just looking around on the net and found this in my search. RQ-4B B) Brendon
ST0RM
Awesome. If these sell well, maybe we'll get the Reaper. Thanks for the link.
UKPonchoMan
Should be a LOT easier to build than the Unimodel kit!!
X-Plane Fan
The Platz kit should be very nice when it is released. Here's some pics of a test shot: The kit looks great overall with very fine recessed panel detail, optional lower fuselage parts and aslo comes with a second left fuselage side with open avionics and engine bays. B-1 Nut
I've been wanting one of these to come out, but $40 seems kind of steep.
Jennings
I've been wanting one of these to come out, but $40 seems kind of steep. Compare to a similarly sized 1/48 fighter model and it's not steep at all, given the current prices asked for new kits. Producing new kits ain't a cheap proposition, and it's not like every kid on earth is aching for a 1/72 Global Hawk kit to hang in his bedroom. We modelers are a very, very, very tiny slice of humanity. And believe me when I tell you, Platz aren't getting rich off this business... J

Until then, i jes be howlin' outside da cave!!!!!!!!!!!! joe.

ChernayaAkula
Ooh, now that looks nice! Look at all the detail! Cool pic, Ken! Very funny! :( Someone might just make a what-if build out of that.
thegoodsgt
$40 seems kind of steep. Maybe, but for $40 that's a lot of wing!

I was just trying to draw comparison between other 1/72 jet aircraft which can easily be had for 2/3 or 1/2 the $40 asking price and they have far more detail (so to speak). I didn't think of the fact that since this is a new tool kit that the pre-production and master costs have to be recuperated. I'd much rather have it in 1/48, as I don't build much 1/72. I doubt someone will put one out in 1/48, though. Heck, I'd be happy with a 1/48 Predator too. Personally, if I ever buy one in 1/72 I'll have to wait a while for the price to come down a tad. I mean, I just paid $38 for a brand new 1/48 Hasegawa RF-4C from Lucky Model, so I can hope you see what I was trying to relay. Again, it wasn't mean to come across disparaging. I actually have to give a nod to Platz for even wanting to cover such a subject. JED
UKPonchoMan
Am I right in thinking this is one of the early Block 10?? My knowledge of RQ-4 wing lengths is somewhat suspect!!
