Sean Bratton
Guess they didn't get the memo they're supposed to be grey like the other operators. Qatari C-17 at Airliners.net
PhantomPhreakII
Screw ;) the memo. THAT is a cool livery........ Now lets see who'll be the first to do the decals... Harald
Sig Saur & Son
Yeah, what PhantomPhreakII said. Probably a requirement to keep the tempts down inside.
g0_command0
Thats the 2nd Qatar C-17. The first one is painted like any other C-

GreyGhost
Now that is cool ! I was hoping some 'MD-17s' would have been ordered to see C-17s in civil liveries ... Gregg
ChernayaAkula
Whoa! Earlier on, I couldn't see myself building a C-17. That... has changed.

Spongebob
I was hoping some 'MD-17s' would have been ordered to see C-17s in civil liveries ... Something about having crappy range with a full load of cargo makes it less than interesting for airlines.
1/48 scale pilot
Got there a bit late, lighting wasn't so great...

Aggressor Supporter
That does look good. I wonder how many people would want to fly it in a tactical environment though.

Bill
That looks nice. I would like to see the USAF do one in a throwback lizard scheme or an old white and gray scheme like the old 141's

I would like to see the USAF do one in a throwback lizard scheme or an old white and gray scheme like the old 141's Wasn't the first C-17A in the Euro 1 camo? I have pics on my old computer. Griff13
Wasn't the first C-17A in the Euro 1 camo? I have pics on my old computer. I can post them tommorow It sure was! It was called T-1. Please do post the pics. I love that scheme on this bird. I want them to go back to that but I know they wont. The grey and white would be neat too. They should do one of each. :) Edited July 31, 2009 by Griff13
code20photog
Anyone have confirmation on whether there IS an all white UN C-17 being built? Some people who hug the fence at Long beach say there is, and some say it was the base coat for the Qatar bird.
Tomcat Fanatic
Is it just me, or does that C-17 look seriously freakin' wierd with that nose probe on it?
