Murph Posted August 12, 2009 Share Posted August 12, 2009 Wing pylon mounted air to air missiles use the LAU-115 adapter and are mounted either directly to that, in the case of the AIM-7, or the LAU-127 rails used by the AIM-120 were mounted to the adapter's sides, and the AMRAAMs were then mounted on the LAU-127s.
