mig_21 camo splinter

good morning, here is the last mig-21 of my serie. model academy with accéssoires cmk cockpit and berries of trains. it is about a mf in the camo splinter, every the camo was accomplished has the band hide tamiya, cockades has the help of a montex plate.

OMG! :woot.gif: My favourite jet, but this is one of the best Fishbeds i have ever seen i 1/48 scale! Fantastc job, man!!! What paints did you use for this MiG? Markings and front numbers (7701) are painted or they are decals? Sorry for my bad English, i hope that you understand me... :)

hello, for this mig the colours of painting are light grey humbrol145. for stains humbrol145 for stains clearly, and for dark stains engine grey, from model master. otherwise all it decorative as well as numbers are painted has the help of band hide tamiya

Wow !!!!! :whistle:

Perfect job ! MF 7701 is masking nightmare for czech modellers.

Sadly You have small but very important problem with Czech insignia at left wing. Red/darker section (in top and in bottom side of wings) must be everytime close to fuselage.

Unfortunately, this is a widespread problem, when a foreign modellers building Czech (or Czechoslovak) aircraft.

WOW !!! You really have made this look SO easy but for sure it was not..

You must have had the patience of a Saint to do that Splinter camoflage work.

Great job on this one! I love this camo and I've been thinking of taking it on myself. I have a gut feeling eduard might take it upon thaelfs to release a special edition that includes masks some time.

Mike70, may I know what paint specifically did you use for the lightest shade of gray for the airframe.
