Westland Lysander 1/72e

Hello, all

Here is my scratch-building.

I decided to supplement and modify the model in the cockpit, wings, tails, and engine.

And more... Perhaps.

First, the fuselage :

fuselage.th.jpg cockpitvuectdroit.th.jpg cockpitvuedessus.th.jpg

The details are made from plastic card and sheet aluminum for the structure, and wire to the cabane (not painted yet)

The fuel tanks and oil are foil wrapped on a balsa form.

There was also a bit of sprue and copper wire.

The painting of the cockpit is duck egg blue, and it is a mistake that I noticed too late.

This should have been green cockpit. It will be for next time.

That all for the moment.

Cheers,

Philippe

Hello, all

Here is the result of the construction.

ailegaucheintradosvuede.th.jpg ailegaucheintradosvuepr.th.jpg

The ailerons and flaps have been cut, and I am in process hinges.

They are functional.

Unfortunately, I did not find any pictures or drawings of the aileron hinges, so I'll try to make the most lifelike as possible.

Anyone can help me?

Thanks,

Philippe

Thanks all!

I can see it will be my last pics for this year.

Here they are :

The instrument panel (not finished), and the landing light glasses

The rudder and stabilizer.

Sanded and re-written.

That all for this year.

I hope present you the finished model for the next Matchbox Madness.

Bye!

Philippe
