Pirata
Excellent model, Pierre! If I may ask, what colour did you use for the wash? And what technique did you use? I'm thinking of changing how I do washes. Thanks.
PIERRE CHRISTIAN BAUDRU
Excellent model, Pierre! If I may ask, what colour did you use for the wash? And what technique did you use? I'm thinking of changing how I do washes. Thanks. Hi, thanks for your message ! For the washing job I used the color 'burnt earth' oil paint (30% oil paint and 70% terebentine). See pic below: You just have to apply on panel lines, wait 5 min and remove.....if not good just need to redo the same job.....I like to work by small areas and not all the model at the same time. Don't forget to apply a briliant coat before, it's very important..... Cheers ! Edited September 29, 2009 by PIERRE CHRISTIAN BAUDRU
Pirata
Thanks. I take it you apply it into the panel lines with the brush and remove it with the Q-tip? Sorry to be a pest. Thanks again!
JMan
Pierre, Pierre, Pierre! Simply stunning. You have done a great job on your Albatros. Thanks for showing!

Sorry to be a pest. Thanks again! Hi, no problem....you have to apply it with a small brush yes....just like shown on the pic above....and remove with cotton for exemple moving it from the front to the rear fuselage...same wind movements....got it ? Cheers ! Pierre. Edited September 29, 2009 by PIERRE CHRISTIAN BAUDRU

JimC
I've just Finished the ejections seats. Very nice L-39 you have here. I'm wondering about the buckles on your seats... I can't tell from the pics, but scratch or a photoetch resource here on the 'net? Again, very nice build (in a very small scale, imho). Jim
bad edd
Great job Pierre! I don't know where to start...the details in the cockpit? the superb weathered look ? All looks perfect! Ed
GoBlue96
Wow, just outstanding all around. I've got one of these about 50% done in my stash that I sat aside because I was frustrated with it. This is good inspiration! Thanks for putting up the pictures, it was fun to follow your build. Excellent work.
