I have some for the box cutter, I think it will make a difference. I like the Natulus product. ULAD is the main decals for the kit and look very nice. I am sure someone make a 88 gun turned barrel, you just may have to adapt it from the ground version. http://www.archertransfers.com/AR88023.html Im Focus has a number of good books on the subject. http://modelingmadness.com/scotts/books/uif1.htm HTH
Hawk10
I got my version of this kit a couple of months after it was released at a great price ($38 including shipping) and also got the Eduard PE set for it (about the only set available at the time). If I were to do it again, I'd probably get the WEM PE set instead (or more than likely get both). The WEM kit gives you the parts to correct the stowed anchor location and size (the one on the hull is too far aft and too large). The WEM set also gives you the parts to simply cut out the area under the stern and replace the flooding holes with a piece of brass (let me tell you how much fun it is to thin down and punch out the holes in that area - the set is worth it just for that). I debated on getting the laser cut wooden deck that is offered out there, but I decided my money could better spent elsewhere. And I don't recall having seen an AM brass barrel for the 88mm deck gun.
