Flankerman
Still I spread photo APU-470. Probably it will help in the course... Awesome closeups maXar - thanks for posting. Where is this Flanker ??? It looks like a park ???? Ken
maXar
Where is this Flanker ??? It looks like a park ???? /excuse for my bad English.. :( / O!.. this wonderful magic green park is in territory of our Vinnitsa Staff of Military-Air Forces - There the small exposition consisting military jets and helicopters, aircraft weapon, surface-to-air missile systems is collected. There, in shade of high lindens, also there is this Cy-27 - Also in this collection it is possible to see (and touch! ) such - Yak-11, Cy-27, Cy-24, Cy-25, Cy-17M3, Cy-15TM Maestro, MiG-29, MiG-27K, MiG-25RBS, MiG-23MLD, MiG-21PFM, Yak-28PP, Yak - 38M, L-39, VR-2 Strizh, BP-3 "Flight", BSR Tu-143, Mi-2, Mi-8T, Mi-24, Ka-27PL ...; radars 19ZH6, PRV-17; stationary launchers with anti-aircraft missile systems S-75M2 "Volkhov", S-125M1 "Neva", S-200V "Vega", self-propelled launchers with anti-aircraft missile systems "Buk-1M", "Cube", "Circle", "OSA-AK", self-propelled launchers of anti-aircraft missile systems C-300V1, C-300PS, anti-aircraft artillery system C-60, self-propelled launcher rocket system of medium-range RSD-10... Unfortunately, sometimes I think that this exposition remains last place where it will be possible to see "power" of the Ukrainian Air Forces... Because of stupid greedy generals and the same irresponsible politicians who care only of itself, instead of about interests to the country... But we will not think of the sad! Usually it is the object closed for visiting. But, periodically, during some gala days, on Staff territory access for all comers opens. Certainly, in such days I try to appear there with the camera.. I would highly appreciate your kind sharing some walkarounds of APU-60, if possible. :) If I got it right, you have a nice possibility to attend that "aviation park" and make very nice shots. Thanks in advice. Alexander.

And at the first possibility I will be in the Air Forces Staff and I will make new photos. Please, look at my photos - whether correctly I have defined types of pilons? Which type of pilon you interests (specify on photo or on the drawing)? Or e-mail (or Personal Message) me on Russian - probably so it will be simple both you and me. Zactoman
Thanks for sharing the pics maXar!!! First Su-27 wingtip pylons out of the molds: I'm going to do up a quick instruction sheet and these should be available in a few days. I've started the MiG-21 outer pylon: My plan is to include separate pylons, sway braces and launch rails so they can be displayed in any configuration.
