Order placed.

So Chris, what is the Su-27UB canopy's position on your to-be-tackled list?

Thanks for the order Terry!

Family canopies are high up on the list.

I just picked up the Su-30MKK yesterday...

I think it won't take much time to wait. :coolio:
AKU-470 in the works. This pylon is carried on the Su-27 on the underside of the intakes as well as between the intakes.

Here you can see how I built it in layers so that it would have room for the guts.

Last shot shows the Trumpeter part for camparison.

Yesterday I sent out an e-mail listing the latest releases. If you didn't receive the e-mail and would like to be on my mailing list please send me an e-mail and I'll add you to the list.

Well, later on...

Well I certainly want to see them! Looking forward to 'later on'!

Engraved details are pretty much finished. Next come the raised details...

Wow! :o

Stunning work you guys :woo:

I'm very impressed with these missile rails. The craftsmanship is peerless.

The difference in shape of the AKU-470 is astonishing Chris. (What were the blokes at Trumpeter smoking? )

I particularly like the raised seams that you've managed to achieve Alexander. Great attention to detail.

wow... continually amazed... I'll be in for a full set once its released

question: did you guys hire a bunch of 1/32 mini-men or some sort of computerized CNC machine to do this?... the fidelity of detail and quality is unhuman!

BTW, I've been watching them working one night...That tiny tireless creatures were bustling about cutting, riveting, welding and so on. As for me, I only post those pictures thus tickling my modeling ego. B)

Cheers!

Alexander.

Must have been something really good,,, or really bad... :worship:

Outstanding job on the raised weld beads Alexander! Your workmanship continues to inspire me to do better myself.

Raised details added. Now it's time for the guts.

Thanks for nice comment Chris! But the sense is mutual. Your workmanship is always the endless source of inspiration for me. If I inspire you, then you emulate yourself. :coolio:

Great work on the AKU-470!

Cheers!

Alexander.
