This pylon is carried on the Su-27 on the underside of the intakes as well as between the intakes.Here you can see how I built it in layers so that it would have room for the guts. Last shot shows the Trumpeter part for camparison. Yesterday I sent out an e-mail listing the latest releases. The difference in shape of the AKU-470 is astonishing Chris. (What were the blokes at Trumpeter smoking? :blink: ) I particularly like the raised seams that you've managed to achieve Alexander. David BTW, I've been watching them working one night...That tiny tireless creatures were bustling about cutting, riveting, welding and so on.
