Today has received a post parcel!

Excellent set!

Professional work!

Very happy to hear the parts arrived safely and that you like them!
Zactoman please make this in 1/32.

Only you can do it right, Trumpy will make serious shape mistake and ruin this bird.

Thanks for the vote of confidence but can you at least wait until it lands for the first time before expecting a kit?

Beautiful bird...I can't wait to have one in 1/32!

MiG-29 pylons are all ready to mold up. Pictures coming soon!

Back on topic

First MiG-29 pylons out of the mold:

MiG_29_Pylon1.jpg

Here the parts are pictured on the Revell wing.

To properly position them you will need to fill the existing mounting holes and drill new ones in the correct position. You will also need to remove an existing bump and replace it with the provided resin bump seen under the rear of the APU-73 (center pylon).

The extra bracket under the APU-470 is optional. It is only sometimes carried.

More pictures soon...

Hi bro! Aha, you eventually cast them!

They look perfect! We've done a great job on that airframe to improve it's image and just a few steps left to have a completely new exact (ah well, at least 99% accurate  ) resin copy of the real thing. ;)

Cheers!

Alexander.

It's unfortunate that so few have posted comments here but let me assure you that many of those who have received them are very happy. I have received several e-mails commenting on just how nice they are.

Once again I'll say that you have done a beautiful job making these

>>>Here<<< is a review of them.

I'm looking forward to seeing them on a finished model. Preferably one using the entire MiG-29 correction set.

If you haven't already seen this, >>>Here<<< is a great in-progress build using the correction set. (You will need to register to see the pics, but it's definitely worth it!)

Look for him to be using the pylons eventually! ;)

Surely the MiG-29 is as marvelous as the Su-27 ones which I have researched for the whole night this weekend!

You're all artists,Alexander&Chris Combination!

Now if only Revell could re-release the MiG-29 again... ;)

BTW,do you have any plan for R-77 missiles and pylon?

Cheers,

Yufei

I definitely have to get those. Hell, I'll get in line for any Russian stuff you do!

The Su-27 pylons I got were perfect and I expect these will be too! Actually,

everything I've got from you was perfect....

Anyway, I'm a victim of Michigan's crappy economy, but as soon as I have money

to spend on aftermarket stuff, I'll be sending it your way, rest assured!!! ;)

Once I have everything I need (hint: wheel wells :) ) I'll probably do a documented build/

review/commentary on my website.

Hi Yufei! Thanks for the appreciation!

R-77 is actually tempting to master, but...maybe Chris...

As for me, my hands are really itching to rebuild my Revell's Mig using whole bunch of the improvements first...

At the moment I'm tinkering with AIM-9M master pattern (1/32 of course!) and hope to complete it with a luck in a week. And then...a vast surgery will commence! ;)

Cheers and happy modeling!

Alexander.

Thanks for the reply,Alexander.

Well,for me,R-27 and R-73 or R-60 is enough for a 3rd generation Soviet fighter.

(Actually I don't think R-77 looks very "Russian" I mean.)

So finally "Americanskie" missiles! ;)

What's the next plan then?Sparrow?

I must grad them for my eagles and hornets.

Cheers,

Yufei
