madmike
Just finished this little gem for the Matchbox Madness 2009 Group Build. Quick, easy to assemble but not very detailed! Tell me though, what armour kit comes with a base these days? This is the Revell re-boxing painted with Vallejo paints and washed with oils thinned with lighter fluid. I used MIG pigments for final weathering. These kits are great fun to build between more involved projects. B) MikeJ

Hey, that's what the Hobby is supposed to be about ! B) Again, Nice work, I love the weathering and the base is another looker as well ... :) Gregg
Icehound
Nice job Mike, I picked up two kits in the Revell range which are also old Matchbox kits with the bases The Churchill AVRE and the Char B.1 and FT-17. My LHS got quite a few kits in last year like the Chaffee,Puma,T-34,Krupp Protze and the two above.Takes me back a few years all these reissued Matchbox kits. The Migrant
Love it Mike, nice restrained weathering and great finish overall. I bult a load of these Matchbox armour kits as a teenager, the Jagdpanther was my favourite.
madmike
Mike You mean this one? :) A great kit! If you go to FSM forum look for a bloke by the name of doog (exceptional round modeller) and do a search for Matchbox Jagdpanther, you can see his kitbashed wonder which uses the Matchbox kit as a basis.
