Recommended Posts

Anyone using White-out as filler? Heard people mention this and was going to give it a try ... any pointers or cautions ... tips or hints?

thanks,

Gary

Works very well on small areas. I prefer the "pen" type that you gently squeeze  while pressing on surface. Happy modleing, Jim monketdance4.gif

I've experimented with it, and VASTLY prefer Mr. Surfacer 500. The two are supposed to be fairly similar, but I found the white out didn't harden as much as I wanted, and was just generally harder to sand/scrape/deal with.

Thanks for the input, guys. Have to give it a try on something small and see what happens.

I agree- I'd only use it on very small scratches and seams. My personal experience with it hasn't been all that glowing, and I found that it just didn't adhere well enough to be of much use. I'm really going to have to invest in some Mr. Surfacer, and give it a try one of these days.
