rom
hello! here is my new project. the latest and last Flanker: the Su-35 BM I chose this one: here are the major specifications: New glass cockpit: thrust vectoring nozzles and new tailboom: Double front gear: I will use the Kitech kit as a basis. This a copy of the academy kit and the quality is not as high as the original. But i'm not afraid of a little work. Moreover, i would have to do some surgery anyway. This is what i got: I started with the seat: It is waiting for washes and brushing. scratched front panel: thub with PE. some plumbing will be added: I also started to work the front area: Concerning the numbers 902, i have a problem. I am in the process to design the numbers. But if someone could print them for me with a professional printer, it would be awesome. I'm afraid of the result with my inkjet printer on white decal paper.... I hope you will enjoy this build. But i warn you, it wont be fast!! :) All your comments and advices would be highly appreciated!! bye

Flankerman
I'm looking forward to seeing this build Rom....... My 1:72 version is sitting on my shelf - waiting for me to finish it off - it only needs the gear doors plus pylons and aerials ..... Your build has inspired me - I WILL get off my butt and finish it...... Ken

konbini
Nice looking cockpit to be! Would love to see how this bird comes out. Even though it looks similar to the su-27, a quick search online reveals it is quite a different species, inside & outside. Really looking forward to how you tackle this challenge! Good luck! speedlimit
I say good luck with it. It would be so much work but in the end it will be worth it. Nice choice of subject too! Eric

rom
Thanks guys! ;) Aspide, Yes i think it is possible to build the Su-33 with the kitech boxing. I would recomend you the Su35 boxing, with the complete foreplanes set. In the su-27 boxing, you have just the lower parts of canards. But be aware!!! the Kitech quality is not the Academy one!! the surface is very rough! the clear parts are quite unusable! The Kitech kit is much cheaper!! and that's good for a major conversion and surgery build! ;) bye!!
Qian
Great progress so far rom! The cockpit looks fine! Bort 902 has one of the best schemes ever to be applied on the Su-35!! I finally decided tu use the Reheat one. IRST fairing: Tails. I filled and sanded the lines. They are different on a Su-35. :) bye

MarkW
Concerning the numbers 902, i have a problem. I am in the process to design the numbers. But if someone could print them for me with a professional printer, it would be awesome. I'm afraid of the result with my inkjet printer on white decal paper.... What font are those in? I might be interested in kicking some out.
