leverancier
Hi all Finished this thing last week: Tamiya F-4j, PWMP deck tractor and figures, flightpath diorama set, Aires burner cans, master detailers pilots, Eduard PE sets, D-mold seamless intakes and the markings are a mix of about 5 to 6 sets from cam, hobby decals, kit decals and self made. It depicts the CAG bird of VF-142 Ghostriders, early seventies.

strikeeagle801
What a great looking diorama! The over-all presentation is great, as is the individual elements. Great job on the Phantom. The pilots are a great touch. Aaron

chuck540z3
Outstanding job- I LOVE dirty Navy jets! Your F-4J looks very realistic, which is the whole idea.
theseeker
Outstanding all around! Your weathering is spot on, the diorama is excellent and this is one of the best F4 builds I have ever seen! Rocky
GreyGhost
A Beautiful Phantom in an excellent choice of scheme ... Really nice build and display ... Gregg
THX1138
Sweeeeeet !!! Damn fine job.
aircommando130
Phantastic Phantom...I really like a dirty F-4 and the display base is very cool. I have a 32nd J and keep going between a BA clean J or a Navy/Marines squadron bird. Nice job!!!!
Mr B
Nice work The figures look like telling a strong and full of action............. The Phantom looks equally good Best Mr b
janman
Magnificent model! Superbly detailed and finished. The diorama part rocks too! I truly like the scheme. The funniest thing is, I was going to do the same bird with exact markings, probably as my next build.
Anders_Isaksson
Excellent work! Great weathering on the jet and tractor. The pilots and the carrier crew really makes the whole scene come alive. I have a similar diorama in mind for my Tamiya Tomcat, someday... Really makes me want to build a Tamiya Navy Phantom, too bad there are (ASFAIK) no lo-wiz options for the F-4J... Cheers, Anders
Aggressor Supporter
Good job! The pilots and ground crew figures particularly are standouts.
TF51GREGWISE
Nice work. But in the seventies there were no blue shirts (trust me I was there).
Gambler
Awesome job !! Fantastic work on the F-4 and on the other subjects that make up the Dio. Excellent! Cheers, Jeff.

leverancier
Ouch, didn't know that... what color were the tractor drivers back then? Thanks for the kind comments guys! Didn't get an answer yet, does annyone know?
aircommando130
One more question and I'm sure others want to know as well...Is the base a really big picture frame and did you use glass or lexan to make the cover? I have one of the 72nd GATO submarines and want to make a cover for it and a few airplanes I've got. Out here in New Mexico when the wind blows it includes a lot of sand...at no extra charge!! Again...very nice Phantom!!
