TheFlyingDutchman
For in-progress pics click here! The cityhopper titles and the registration numbers on the nose wheel doors are home-made decals, the rest of the decals are from the Revell kit and some other spare airliner decals. Hope you like it! cemical
Not so bad, use more tape to get nice lines.
BeeJee
Ha Jelle, what is in real the color under the windows? If I look at Airliners.net it seems to be dark grey not silver. How come the rough texture of the paint? what paint do you use for this kit?
TheFlyingDutchman
Ha Jelle, what is in real the color under the windows? If I look at Airliners.net it seems to be dark grey not silver. How come the rough texture of the paint? what paint do you use for this kit? I used aluminium for it, but you're right: that's the wrong colour. It has to be anthracite or dark grey. I tried Revell Aquacolor for the first time but I found it very difficult to use it. When you use too much water it forms drops on the surface, so the paint was too thick when I used it. Better luck next time...
