haneto
xie xie .. ai =.= wo tai jiu mei you da pin yin ..yao hao hao de fu xi/xue..ahh, nevermind then... I suppose the sticking a sterene board between the beak, then sandig method is the most appropriate then.. Thanks! David You're welcome! If you really want to add some aftermarket goods for ICM/Airfix Su-27,NeOmega products will be your choice. See the thread here: "Cure" for Airfix/ICM Flankers, First shots of correstion set master 1/72 Cheers, Yufei

konbini
Thanks yufei for the link! whoa! lots of resin for a kit... reminds me a bit of the SOL sets that replaced most of the kit :P There's also the Haneto brand canopy and exhausts right :D :P ni hai you zai zuo ma~ mai yao duo shao qian a? Theres definitely lots to learn on Yufei 1/72 flankys for me.. the only "complete" flanker I have at home, is a prebuilt Hogan Wings 1/200 su-30mk (Chinese).. looks pretty good for a diecast (i think) David
janman
If the new (or "newish") ICM kit looks this good also without half a kilo of resin, are those bits even needed in the first place..? Great work, Yufei!
Berkut
If the new (or "newish") ICM kit looks this good also without half a kilo of resin, are those bits even needed in the first place..?Great work, Yufei! Indeed, i honestly the kit oob looks pretty much spot on. Yes, the canopy is to high. For me, personally, it still doesn't look bad. Better than the Airfix one. At least the shape itself looks great. A few things i noticed from Ken's picture in side view: - The lerx seems to be starting from the tip of windscreen in real thing, while in the icm kit it seems to start from the *middle* of the windscreen. - IRST fairing seems to be to short. - The main wheels seems to be sitting to far in front compared to the wheel leg itself. - The mudguard seem a bit off shapewise. All of those "faults" are cases of extreme nit picking, but they can be corrected if you want to quite easily. As Ken, i am not judging Haneto, i am judging the kit. JackMan
Outstanding build there, Yufei!! Question: What type/brand of dark grey did you use for the main fuselage? It looks perfect for PLAAF Su-27. Thanks

haneto
There's also the Haneto brand canopy and exhausts right  ni hai you zai zuo ma~ mai yao duo shao qian a? I only made the nozzles masters,David. And now they are no longer mine as I sold the copyrights to Mr.NeOmega. So there will be some MiG-29 goods available, too(at least I suppose). Hope you will like'em! Yufei
haneto
- The lerx seems to be starting from the tip of windscreen in real thing, while in the icm kit it seems to start from the *middle* of the windscreen. Maybe I sanded too hard on that area as the fitting is quite bad. Cannot remember though...... - IRST fairing seems to be to short. This reminds me that I did cut about 1mm off from the original IRST faring to shorten it. The original one seems too long for me though, and in wrong angle from side view. I also did some sanding work. - The mudguard seem a bit off shapewise. Actually it's too big. I cut the last area off. Here are my friend Gooquan's comparing pictures. And about the nosecone, these pictures(also from my friend Gooquan)may help me to explain myself. Cheers, Yufei
konbini
ahhh, I see the connection. Theyre on sale at the Armoryman's site. great to see your work sellin. Am definitely interested in putting those on a future flanker. I suppose the canopy was also done by you too David

It looks perfect for PLAAF Su-27. Thanks Thanks,Jackman! The nosecone is Mr.Color C305+black(a little) upper fuselage is C306 lower fuselage is C311 The lighter area on nosecone(also with the lauch area on pylons) is C311:C305=7:3 HTH, Yufei
