Tiramolas
I used the Atr-42 vacuum formed kit from Welsh Models. After a lot of sanding I ended up here I added detail on the lower surface of the wing and in the exhaust With spares I made a new set of propellers with 6 blades replacing the ones from Welsh Afterwards using Model Master Acrylic paints and Humbrol enamels I committed the paint job And the final result using the excellent decal set from Nazca Decals Thanks for viewing! GCA333
Great work! At least we have the Welsh kit to keep us happy until Italeri produces theirs. Have you done a vac-kit before?

airplane88
For your first vacuum formed kit, looks AWESOME! I do have a question though. Are the wing tips supposed to be that thick? I have not been on a ATR, and I could be wrong. I do think the ATR 42 and 72 are sharp looking airplanes. We finally have a 42 flying into Seattle as FED EX. What a sexy looking airplane! I have not done a vacuum formed model before. I have one that needs building, but I have skipped it many times. It looks kind of difficult! LOL!
