Nev
Picked this up at the IPMS Newark show the other week At just £4, it works out at about 50p per part! Naturally construction is rather simple, although it does require a touch of filler fore and aft when you join the upper and lower hull together Pretty simple colour scheme, although masking up to the rear fins and around that sticky out thing on the starboard rear (somebody please tell me what that is) was annoying. And it is tiny, which means all the flaws in my paint job are blown up this close up. Also has convinced me that 1/700 is just too small a scale for me. This is my 8th finished model of the year, and my first finished ship kit since I was a kid (my first attempt stalled due to fear of complex masking). madmike
Now that is a small little sub. Excellent work though, the last image shows just how small the kit really is compared to the paint tinlet. Cheers MikeJ
