erwin
Hi all, I'm planning to start the Matchbox/Revell 32 nd Tiger Moth. I have never done rigging on a biplane before. But I 've read somewhere that it is easier to use fine hard metal rods than wire. Any tips on easy rigging as a first attempt are welcome. Airbusteacher
My experience has taught me that monofilament fishing line is best....and you can paint it. :D It's cheap too. :P
Barneydhc82
Erwin: I guess I'm the resident expert on rigging the 1/32 Tiger Moth. I've tried everything but in this scale fine steel wire, .008" ..cut a bit oversized is the best. I predrill all rigging attach points in the wings...but not through the wings completely and insert the wires into the holes and fix with super glue. For more info, visit my website http://www.barneysairforce.com nd look under biplanes/construction articles and if you still have any questions just contact me.
