John Krukowski Posted February 21, 2010 Share Posted February 21, 2010 One thing I really like about the Testors F-4 is that I think it captures the slim, trim look of the Phantom very well. When I was a kid I thought Phantoms were huge, "hogs" n'all, but now that we're used to F-15's etc. they look much smaller than they used to and the Testors kit nails that impression. No, I did a mask with paper and then I rise the paper with tape on the button, allowing 4-5 mm between the paper and the model... then the olive green layer, after it dry for a couple days I added the mask for the dark green...allow to dry a couple hours and take all the masks (no the metallic mask for the tail, until I did the wash...)
