Julien (UK)
Hi, This is the old 1.72 Heller F-8 built as an F-8J. Before 500 emails, yes I know the Blues never flew the F-8, this is a what iff. I dont normally do them, however the Aerobatics SIG will be doing what iff as its theme for Telford 10. Not my best work, I kind of had to put the decals where they fitted, not 100% where I wanted them. thanks to Colin at the IPMS UK decal bank for sending the decals. Paint is xtracolor Blue Angels Hornet Blue, and Blue Angels Yellow. Julien
ALF18
This is my 1/48 Hasegawa A-7E from the USN. Nowhere near as impressive as some of the other entries I've seen on this GB, but will look OK in my bookcase at work. Thanks for looking, and thanks for the comments some of you made in my build thread. I had fun, and learned a lot about the real aircraft doing this one. ALF

phantom
Just finished mine. Two Hasegawa 1/48 F-8s. CVW-8 both of them of course. First VF-103 off USS Forrestal. Next VF-111 off the USS Shangri-La Now a shot of all the F-8s I have. The other two are REALLY old. VF-84 is Monogram made several years back. And the CAG VF-111 is just not worthy of many more photos.

Hoops
Academy 1/72 F-8J with kit markings for VF-24 It was a great kit, went together really nicely. I've got a F-8P in the stash from Academy as well, and I'm looking forward to building it after my experience with this kit. Cheers! -Hoops

Darren Roberts
I hope you don't mind me jumping in. I finished this up and thought it would be an appropriate place to put it. The base kit is Monogram. I added a resin seat and the Cobra Co. landing gear. I swiped a spare set of Hasegawa wheels from another project.
Yoxford
Put the finishing touches on this last night. Hasegawa 1/48 A-7D with a Black Box cockpit, Aires wheel bays, weapons from Hasegawa Weapons Set B, and decals from the IPMS/USA 2009 National Concention. Glad it's done. The flash from my camera washed things out a bit. Now I think it's time to build something OOB.
