I-16
OK, I'm going to bail out of the Sopwith Tripe, as I'm not going to have time to finish a vac (with three wings) in a month. So, I'm gonna take a short cut, and build an Eduard Morane Saulnier type N from the box, non Profi, keep it simple, so you can finish it type of plane, so the build doesn't drag on for months while I'm fiddiling with some tiny photo etch parts that I'll never see with my glasses off once its done. Plus, its got only one wing, and about 5 parts. My kind of model. Pre build shot.
I-16
This is going together quickly. Interior in, and preshaded. I am going to apply the linen color next.
StuartM
Looking good! This kit is high on my wanna-do list, and so I'm following with great interest. Stuart
I-16
Well, the Polyscale Lenin went on well, and came off well. I forgot to prep the plastic. I usually do a detergant wash, but alas, spaced it. Upon removing the masking tape, a section peeled off. No big thing. sand and touch up. This kit is a very fast build. I have the older version with lots of photoetch, which should be more of a challange. I'll be interested to see how they compare once finished.

StuartM
Nice! From the photos it looks like the pre-shading turned out well; nice and subtle, but with effect. Stuart
I-16
Finished. Rigged with fishing line. Paint was Poli-scale linen, and MM black, both Acrylic. Fun, out of the box build. Thanks for looking.
