Clinstone
While waiting for some airbrush parts to finish my F-105G, I decided to build my girlfriend a present for her birthday. She has a '68 Mustang but since nobody sells a model of the coupe, I decided to build her dream car: a 1969 Shelby GT-500. Started it today and finished the engine and the interior. Must say it is much easier building a car than an aircraft!
bmccarron
Looks like you are off to a good start but I think that you have one exhaust manifold (on the right side) on upside down. Cheers.
Clinstone
That's what I though too but it's how the instructions say to do it and it lines up with the pipes that go along the undercarriage. It does get covered by the air filter when it is completed so maybe it has some function on the full scale.

I'm not sure the Shelby GT would have had one.
Clinstone
Finished it in only 5 days. It's amazing what a deadline will do to a modeler!
84SSccc
Good old Grabber Blue. It Looks killer! I've always preferred the look of the '69 and '70 GT500's.

Wayne S
Nice job :) It is the hot air intake tube for cold starts, it's called a choke stove. I'm not sure the Shelby GT would have had one. With that air cleaner setup they had it.
