Hey, Gregg... wazzuuuuup... <_<

Not bad, I still prefer the original but that is a good cover ...

True, true... first time I ever listened to that song, it was performed by Kansas. Then after, while the Viking was still in vogue, I bought his Inspiration album 'n' listened to this cover version. I've just learnt there's also a cover by Foo Fighters.

I just saw Flankerman's PAK FA model. Outstanding job!!!

Let's celebrate this achievement by our fellow ARC comrade with a new music for today.

Gentlemen, let's ROCK with RUSSIA!

Wanna sing-a-long? Here's the lyrics:

Russia — our holy nation,

Russia — our beloved country.

A mighty will, great glory —

These are yours for all time!

*Be glorious, our free Fatherland,

Age-old union of fraternal peoples,

Popular wisdom given by our forebears!

Be glorious, our country! We are proud of you!

From the southern seas to the polar lands

Spread our forests and fields.

You are unique in the world, one of a kind —

Native land protected by God!

*

Wide spaces for dreams and for living

Are opened for us by the coming years

Our loyalty to our Fatherland gives us strength.

Thus it was, thus it is and always will be!

*

Bought a load of cassette tapes at a thrift store over the weekend and there were 10 Jethro Tull albums included in the bunch. Just finished doing the analog to digital transfers of the lot to my pc and Ian Anderson's flute is deeply imbedded in my brain.
