DarylH
I've had a terrible fight with modeler's block this year. I'm counting on an OOB build to get me going again! Edited January 3, 2010 by DarylH
DarylH
Finally found some time, Christmas weekend was way too busy but this New Years weekend I'm finally managing some free time for the Talbot-Lago When I stripped the chrome from the mirror fairings I found that the sprue was molded in clear The wheels have some of the nicest plastic molded spokes that I've ever seen The multi-part front suspension features poseable steering The steering wheel had polished aluminum spokes and a dark rim. Restored car pics show a black rim but I am sorely tempted to put a wood rim on it The plastic shift lever was the same size and shape as a small headed straight pin so replacement was a no-brainer! I'm expecting to spend tomorrow evening at the bench. The body is split down the middle like a fuselage so I'm aiming to get the fuselage halves together and get it in the paint booth. Paint will be Tamiya TS44 Brilliant Blue.
