erwin
Hi all, Late entry in this GB. With three months to go it's still plenty of time.

johnsg
Great box art. Too bad the model inside isn't nearly as good. Good luck, Erwin.

The Mikester
I've got the 1/32 Hasegawa and Trumpeter in the stash. How does this one compare to the Hasegawa?
Britaholic
Looking good Erwin, nice to see these old kits being built, did the old Hasagawa kit a couple of years back and enjoyed the experience. Cheers Den
erwin
I've got the 1/32 Hasegawa and Trumpeter in the stash. How does this one compare to the Hasegawa? I would give the Revell 4/10. The Hasegawa 8/10 and the Trump beats them all. This Revell is very old and it shows. But if you don't mind all the faults, then it's still fun to build.

vvwse4
You're really slamming this one together!! Looks good. Rick. Edited December 30, 2009 by vvwse4
Kostucha
Erwin, This one's coming together really nice - and as Rick said, really quickly! Looking really good. There's just something ominous about the look of the 262, and you're definitely capturing it perfectly. Man, Revell had some nice box art back in the day...
richter111
Looking good, what paint scheme?
erwin
Looking good, what paint scheme? Haven't decided yet. The kit's decals are FUBAR. I ordered a replacementsheet and a member from LSP is sending me the sheet from the Trumpeter kit. I have to wait untill I get the instructions. But as I do all my painting by brush it will be difficult to get a good mottle effect. Unless there is an option for a full camouflage without mottle.
erwin
Started the paintwork. Not easy to create a decent mottle with brushpainting. I first painted the light-blue.Then the grey and later the green camouflage. After that I will add some light mottle on the sides and fin.
The Mikester
Looks really nice, Erwin!
erwin
Sorry folks. I failed ! :( The mottle by brush didn't go as I wanted. Instead I'm going for a rather unrealistic splintersheme. I hope it won't be to bad in the end after the decals and a matt coat.
TaiidanTomcat
Still looks good! :(
Patrick_Nevin
Still looks good! Yes. I've seen splinter on a 262 anyway - profile for Mj Rudolf Sinner, Gruppenkommodore III./JG7, 'Green 1' (81/82/76) March 1945. With what looks like the rocket tubes on the front racks, cool bird...
