mossieramm
Hi there, I've bought 1/72 Paragon Mk II conversion set. It doesn't include any decals. I know roughly 300 MK II's were built, but which squadron (s) did they belong ?? Canadian ?? Does anyone make any decals for Mk II Lancs ?? Thanks for any info. David. martin_sam_2000
Zotz did a set that included a MkII and when I was looking for it a few years back in 48th I saw a few in 72 that were still available. I can't seem to find any now but if you contact Eli( in the Zotz forum)and he may have what you are looking for. I contacted him and hew as able to send me just the MKII decals for my model. mossieramm
Did the Mk II also have the bulged bombbay with the ventral gun turret ??? David.
saintsdave
432 Squadron QO-? DS740 "Z"; DS831 "N"; DS852 "C"; LL636 "B"; LL637 "Z"; LL686 "F". Also the most important Mk.II in the war, because it kept brining my Grandfather back, DS794 "W"
agboak
Did the Mk II also have the bulged bombbay with the ventral gun turret ???David. Some did. Not sure all with the bulged bombay actually had the turret. Isn't there a profile that might give some idea about ratios? Best looking Lancasters, in my opinion. Shame they never went to a glazed nose too. Edited December 31, 2009 by agboak
andyf117
Did the Mk II also have the bulged bombbay with the ventral gun turret ???David. Early production machines didn't, most later ones did - as always, it's a case of checking photographic references for individual aircraft to see what's appropriate....
