POMPEO
Hello friends this is my first GB on ARC, and to this i choose a great jet, the A-7B Corsair, an aircraft that made history on U.S. and foreign service. My build ill be made OOB, with any Scratch build detail, i choose the markings of VA-87 Golden Hawks, see below a few of his history VA-87 Golden Hawks Home Base: NAS Cecil Field 01 Feb 68 Established Attack Squadron VA-87 * 01 Feb 68 Redesignated VFA-87 * 01 May 86 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Planes Jun 1968 - Vought A-7B "Corsair II" Oct 1975 - Vought A-7E "Corsair II" Oct 1986 - McDonnell-Douglas F/A-18A "Hornet" VA-87 deployed most years between 1979 - 1985 on board the INDY (independence) with CVW-6 i found just one pic of the aircraft paint scheme that i pretend build http://www.ussindependencecv-62.org/gwf/grfx/va87a7b2.jpg the kit of Hobbyboss is good but the hasegawa's kit is better tha this, the hobbyboss kit had problems in the air intake, and a little detailed eject seat, this problems i try to resolve with a few scratch detailing job so, this is the Hobbyboss A-7B Corsair II kit, a kit good detailed and with a nice Price on the Hobbyeasy.com the box piece trees decals the clear parts, still nicely protected so, thats all folks coming soon i ill post the first progress on build cheers Edited February 25, 2010 by POMPEO
