Steve N Posted January 23, 2010 Share Posted January 23, 2010 Cool..those really take me back! I've got a bunch of photos of the 190 and 88 from the same time frame. It was great being able to get up close to them. The Fw-190 has since had it's wings swapped. Years earlier, the wings had mistakenly been switched with the Fw-190D now in Paul Allen's collection. The "Bf-109" is actually a re-engined Hispano (originally built with an RR Merlin.) The Museum has since acquired a genuine 109G-10.
