Waco Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 While I posted some initial completion pics in my in progress thread found here, I got a chance today to take some better lighted, better quality pictures of my finished F/A-18s. Both are Hasegawa kits. Lots of fun building these, the USMC bird is going to a friend who spent a good number of years in the Corps and has every F-18 I've ever built in his collection. The RAAF bird will be the first Hornet I've built that my USMC friend will NOT have, and was built for the RAAF exchange pilot flying F-22s. It's meant to represent his 75SQ aircraft. Good to see the magpie on the side of a Hornet, they're one of my favourite birds along with the kookaburra and butcher bird.
